*Division 1 Fixture*
CLG BnaG v Dungloe
Moyle Park, Sunday @ 3pm
Match Sponsor – Sean McCormack
Easter Sunday will be a proud day for the Club as Moyle Park hosts its first ever Division 1 clash with Na Galloglaigh playing host to Dungloe. Na Galloglaigh had a fantastic win over Bundoran on the opening weekend but have since had two defeats to St Eunans and Naomh Conaill. Dungloe have also been beaten by St Eunans but followed this up with a good win away to Gaoth Dobhair. All support for this huge and historic game would be greatly appreciated this Sunday at 3pm. Our Reserves also take on Dungloe Reserves on Sunday at 1.30pm. Thanks to Sean McCormack for sponsoring both Senior and Reserve matches.
*Division 1 Seniors*
Naomh Conaill 2-13 CLG BnaG 0-12
Our Seniors were defeated in Glenties on Friday evening by 2-13 to 0-12 by Naomh Conaill. It was a cliched game of two halves as Na Galloglaigh were brilliant for the first half but fell away in the second. They suffered an early set back when Brick Molloy got a goal for the home side in the first five minutes but responded very well to lead at the break 1-6 to 0-10. However Na Galloglaigh struggled in the second half and much of it was their own doing, kicking the ball away and giving away hard earned possession too easily, and every mistake was punished by the clinical Naomh Conaill. Glenties got a second goal after 50 minutes which deflated the boys and they ended up losing by 7 points in the end, 2-13 to 0-12. Na Galloglaigh will play their first home game of the season against Dungloe on Easter Sunday at 3pm.

CLG BnaG 4-11 Four Masters 3-3
Our U14 girls got their league campaign off to a flying start with a 4-11 to 3-3 victory over Four Masters at Moyle Park. This is the first time that many of the girls have played on a full pitch and they equipped themselves very well. Aisling Mc Cormack (2-5) and Kelsey McAteer (2-3) linked very well, scoring a total of 4-8 between them, the other scorers were Mia Ferry, Anna McFadden and Anna Russell. Aisling Patton Gallagher was very impressive in goals, pulling off a few great saves and her kickouts were also very accurate. Leah Afxentiou was very steady at full back, clearing the ball and using it very effectively each time. Cerys Sweeney, Anna Russell and Danielle Kerr were also instrumental in the victory. Next up is an away match against Red Hugh’s on Tuesday evening.
*Last Man Standing*
Congratulations to Aodh McCormack who is the Last Man Standing in our Allianz League competition for 2017. Aodh was one of four to survive to the final weekend along with Mark McDevitt, Emmet Finnegan and Clodagh Kerrigan. Aodh correctly predicted 2 winning league finalists (Tipperary & Westmeath) while Mark (Galway), Emmet (Westmeath) and Clodagh (Tipperary) only correctly predicted one winning finalist each. Well done to Aodh who has won €200. Thank you very much to everyone who entered this year and we look forward to seeing you all playing again in 2018!
