Milford AC will host their 3rd running of the popular 5km series in association with Marine Harvest Fanad.  The 1st race of the series takes place on Saturday the 25th February.

  The registration is at the clubhouse, Milford from 10am.  Fee is €8.00 for runners, €5.00 for walkers.  The race starts at Grey Rocks at 11am.  Chip timing provided by Brendan McDaid.

Prizes in the usual categories with showers and refreshments in the club house afterwards.

  The second race in the series takes place on Friday evening the 24th March at 7pm.

The current couch to 5km participants are now halfway through their programme in preparation for this race.  Any club athletes who are not running are asked to help with marshalling/car parking etc.

National Masters X/Country
The club extends congratulations to Innishowen AC’s Pauric Mc Kinney who won the Masters men's o/50 cross country title at Waterford IT on Sunday.  Pauric finished 15th overall in 24.56.
Congratulations are also extended to Bridie Trearty, Cranford AC who finished 3rd in o/50 ladies category.  To Ben Carr, Finn Valley AC, who won the u/17 boys All Ireland B cross country championship.


Lifford/Strabane 5km Series

Congratulations to the 900 plus athletes who took part in the Lifford/Strabane 5km series over the past 5 weeks.  Well done to club athlete Jim McCahill who ran 25:43 in the 3rd race of the series in Lifford on Sunday.


The club extends congratulations to club athletes Claire and Roy Graham whose business “Eventful” won the National Wedding Stationery Supplier of the year at the National Awards Ceremony in Dublin last weekend.

National Indoor Championships

The club extends best wishes to all county athletes taking part in the National Senior Indoor Championships which takes place at the National Indoor Arena in Abbotstown on this Saturday and Sunday.
